Faye & Tom
Faye first discovered my flowers while visiting the couture company for her wedding dress. She spotted one of my bouquets on display and instantly knew I was the florist she wanted for her wedding.
Faye & Tom were planning the most colourful rainbow wedding, with Faye’s incredible hot-pink wedding dress inspiring the palette for her flowers. We talked about how we could weave in little details and accents inspired by Faye’s favourite things, while keeping the overall look organic and natural to complement their gorgeous venue.
Faye had fallen in love with the wildflower bouquet she’d seen at the couture company, so we used that as our starting point. Her bouquet was filled with white daisies with button centres, big bold dahlias, lavender stems, multi-coloured magnolias and roses — a joyful mix of colour, texture and personality.
There was just one colour that definitely didn’t make the cut… red! A big no from the very beginning.
For Tom’s buttonhole, we took inspiration from the colourful lining of his custom suit. A bright pink dahlia was the feature flower, tying beautifully back to Faye’s dress, with an orange magnolia, a purple rose, and a yellow rose bud adding even more colour.
Creating Faye & Tom’s wedding flowers was an absolute joy. I loved bringing together all the little details that made their wedding so wonderfully them.
Thank you, Faye & Tom, for trusting me with your wedding vision. It was such an honour to be part of your story and to create flowers that were as colourful, joyful and unique as your day.
