Emily & Vic
I met the vibrant and creative Emily at the All About Ewe Extravaganza in Birmingham, and working with her was an absolute delight! From the very first conversation, Emily radiated enthusiasm and clarity about her vision: the colours, the style, the products—she knew exactly what she wanted!
For her wedding to Vic, Emily dreamed of a structured round bouquet that would pop with purple and orange hues, accented by a sprinkle of whimsical rainbow roses. She wanted to infuse a playful twist on classic Halloween colours, so I set to work on a stunning bouquet that would surpass her expectations. Picture this: a lush base of purple organza, adorned with vibrant purple and orange star flowers, interspersed with rainbow roses and delicate rose buds, each one representing a colour of the rainbow!
The buttonholes were another fun element. We decided on a single rainbow rose for the wedding crew, but as the big day got closer, Vic had a change of heart. She wanted a buttonhole too—something elegant yet aligned with their wedding theme. To make her feel truly special, I crafted a unique design with a rainbow rose and an orange and purple rose bud to complement the overall aesthetic.
And then came the real adventure: creating Emily’s bouquet! In my excitement, I initially made the star flowers too large, and the bouquet began to resemble a mesmerising magic eye! Taking a step back, I channelled Emily's vision more accurately and reworked the design, crafting smaller star flowers that perfectly complemented the rest of the arrangement. The final bouquet was a breathtaking fusion of colour and creativity, exactly what Emily had envisioned. Every element came together in a dazzling display, making this wedding truly unforgettable!
As with all my weddings, I love to encourage couples to share their wedding photos (whether taken professionally or not), but ultimately, the choice is theirs. While I would absolutely adore showcasing their beautiful moments, I completely understand and respect their desire for privacy on such a special day.
